Woke up to snow. Lily and I wore comfy clothes all day. No make-up.
Put in a load of laundry.
Fed Lily and just snuggled with her. Lily is a good baby. Everyone who meets her comments on how good she is. She smiles. She is generally happy just to be noticed. She had some shots today and cried for about 10 seconds, and after I picked her up she stopped, and then smiled at the nurse who poked her. One of my favorite things about her good nature is that she just takes the hugs and kisses. She just takes it. Sometimes her dad will kiss her over and over and over and I'm wondering how she is not getting annoyed by his scratchy whiskers, but she just smiles and coos. So when I snuggle with her, especially in the morning, she snuggles right back. I lay on my side, with her in the crook of my body, and she just looks around. Doesn't move at all. Sometimes she looks at me and smiles. Every once in a while she'll say something. I love her.
Went to lunch with Mom at Tea Rose Cafe. Delicious tomato and avocado melt. Good company.
Put laundry in dryer.
Went grocery shopping while Lily stayed home with Grandma. Strangely relaxing trip. I usually hate grocery shopping.
Made banana bread and cheddar chowder. Perfect for a snowy day. My mom and dad joined us for dinner because their carpets were being cleaned and the house was a disaster. Nice to have company in our new place.
Did dishes with Matt. Talked about how all of his co-workers are jealous of his lunches, which are leftovers of the the dinners I make. Then we read scriptures. I love him.
Watched "Bones". I really like that show.
Husband and child are in bed. Just thinking about my day. Nothing spectacular.
Hope tomorrow is just as good.
