Reading

This is a common occurance at our house.

Lily LOVES to read. She frequently makes herself comfortable in this chair with a pile of books to read. And she usually babbles to herself while she turns the pages.

Piano

Lily loves to climb on stuff. Furniture, stairs, people. All of a sudden it's reached a new level of crazy. She can get on the piano bench (and other preveiously too tall pieces of furniture) all by herself. She kicks her foot up to face level, hooks it on the bench, and somehow pulls herself up. Then she plays us a lovely tune.

Shoes

Lily is definately a girl. She loves to try on shoes of all kinds, but on this particular day she wanted only the heals.

PJ's and heels. Don't you love the look?

Lily can also say "shoes." She says it whenever we put on our shoes or her shoes or she finds someone else shoes.

Twins

My sister had twin boys in January, and I got to fly out to Wichita where they live to help out for a few days. These cute guys are fraternal (if you can't tell) and even though they were only a few weeks old when I was there, their personalities are completely different. It was so great to be there. Even in the chaos that is twin babies (plus two other very busy children), Rachel and Jeff still managed to make me feel welcome in their home. What a great trip!
